A sublime vintage poster from one of our favourites Judy Chicago.
Judy is of course one of the most famous feminist artists of all time, but she is an activist across many injustices... not least the environment.
In the 1980s Judy Chicago was commissioned by Greenpeace to create this poster called Rainbow Warrior.
This was named after Greenpeace’s ship Rainbow Warrior, launched in 1977. It is based on a Native American belief that when the creatures of the sea are facing extinction, a rainbow warrior will descend from the sky to protect them.
