Jeremy Deller
Jeremy Deller is a British conceptual, video and installation artist who won the Turner Prize in 2004. Deller is perhaps most famous for 'The Battle of Orgreave' his re-enactment of a battle between police and miners… the performance was referred to as the second most important work of art in the 21st century by The Guardian newspaper.
Jeremy Deller collaborated with the photographer Allan Kane some twenty years ago now to catalogue the state of folk art in the UK. The archve of over 280 photographs toured the UK and this poster was made available from the art council.
This is a fabulous print of a variety of sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival… the biggest street party in Europe.
We have some found some more stock of this fab poster but please do note they are not signed by Allan Kane like the one in the image.
