Damien Hirst
In 2023 Damien Hirst took a break from images of skulls, butterflies and dots to capture snapshot images of the sea and the British coast.
The sea paintings were accompanied by looming, overcast skies and the ferocity of the foaming turbulent waters were painstakingly recreated in a painterly manner.
