Buy Tracey Emin posters
Tracey Emin’s posters are a great starting point to collect the YBA, and her posters have seen some remarkable price rises in recent years.
The line where poster ends and a print begins is often a blurred one. Prints tend to be more limited edition and signed, but there are many exceptions.
One such exception are the Tracey Emin Neon Posters such as 'The Kiss Was Beautiful', 'Love is What You Want' and 'My Favourite Little Bird'. These vibrant pieces were originally sold at the Art Car Boot Fair, where believe it or not Emin sold them in person... a situation that would more than likely cause a riot these days such is her fame! They look fabulous framed and are prominently signed.
Other notable posters and prints include a more recent one from her Margate show. 'A Journey to Death / A Hurt Heart' as seen above is unsigned yet is great value for money as the quality is outstanding, the same company that produces her £10k prints prints them, and well, you do the maths.
One final worthy mention are the prints from the Royal Academy show. ‘I Am the Last of my Kind’ is a great image and printed on good quality stock. ‘I Never Asked to Fall in Love’ and ‘Because You Kept Touching Me’ are two great images.
Buy Tracey Emin prints
This is the first place that most people who want to collect Tracey Emin art seriously. She’s produced quite a few prints over the years, and they’ve seen a steady increase in value.
Tracey Emin’s prints vary. They tend to come as either smaller etchings such as ‘Suffer Love’ and ‘You Can’t… a Shoe’. These smaller prints are often signed and very recognisably Emin. They ache with sadness and melancholy, and are of course confessional such as ‘Pregnant’ and ‘Love is What You Want’.
Then there are larger Tracey Emin prints. These tend to be lithographic with more colour. The fabulous ‘No Surrender’ (above) for example or ‘Laying With The Olive Trees’. These have rocketed in value over the years. A few years back you could pick up the odd larger print around the £1k mark, now you’d be looking closer to £5k.
